The “Super Cookie” - You feed malnourished kids a cookie? Yes. A Cookie? Yes! We all know God moves in mysterious ways and can use anyone or anything for His glory, even a cookie! Our founder, Rinda Davis, discovered a recipe for a super cookie one day while reading a magazine in a waiting room. The recipe was formulated by doctor who developed it to help bring children out of malnutrition. After much research and some time in Honduras, Rinda was able to find all the ingredients needed to bake these cookies in Honduras (minus the micronutrients from Mama Project). In our project, all children are measured to determine which stage of malnourishment they are in and how many cookies they need. Each child gets 2-4 cookies a day and a glass of milk. We are so thankful God uses even the simplest things to answer prayer and bring Him glory! Below you can find the recipe we use for our cookies.
